Falconry Displays
Experience the classic and ancient art of Falconry. Described as the sport of the Kings, this display will fill you with wonder and not only will there be a chance to touch these magnificent birds
there is even a chance to try a hand at this amazing activity for yourselves! Falconry compliments nearly all corporate team building or corporate entertainment events, and combines well with Marquee Hilltop dining. It can also be held at a venue of your choice including indoors!
Laird’s Challenges
Bagpipe Playing: who can get a tune from the noisy beast! Our
piper will lead the way.
Whisky Haggis Challenge: Test your aim. If you can navigate a
Haggis accurately and it hits the bottle of Whisky, then the
bottle is yours!
Stags Head Quoits: Test your accuracy any try to land a hoop
onto the stag’s antlers.
Laird’s Challenges are an ideal activity at our outdoor dining venues.
Highland Warriors
Bloody battles and bitter feuds. From the ancient pine trees emerge Highland Warriors recreating a clan battle. Dress as a Highlander and become actively involved in clan warfare with the Highland warriors in a blood curdling mock battle. Highland Warriors make a memorable addition to a Mountain Safari or Combo Mountain Safari
Whisky Tasting
Whisky Tasting in the company of a local and highly entertaining expert in the art. He will uncover the secrets of the Master Blender and the unique Nosing and Tasting techniques. The Gaelic for Whisky is “Usque Baugh” or “Water of Life” so pay attention as there may be some important lessons to be learnt! A Whisky Tasting can be enjoyed in one of our Dare to Dine Differently locations or at a venue of your choice.
Indoor Highland Games
Based on the world famous Scottish Highland Games. It includes some traditional activities and some less so but all lots of fun. The Games commence with competing clans dressing for the occasion in kilts & tartan “tammy” and then the fun begins with the “skirl” of the pipes. Our kilted instructors provide rousing Celtic music to play in the background.
When the Highland Games are over the clans sit back with a well earned dram of traditional Scottish whisky and the champion clansmen each receive a medal.
Indoor Highland Games can include: Piper, Highland Dancers, Bagpipe Playing, IndoorCurling, Highland Warrior Clan Battle, Laser Shot.
Laser Shot
State of the art computer generated shooting activity using rifles and pistols. Fantastic fast action and great fun!
Highland Piper
There is nothing quite like the Highland Bagpipes for sheer power and emotion and can be enjoyed on your arrival or as part of your entertainment.
Highland Piper & Dancers
Be entertained by the wonderful combination of colour, intricate movements and music of Highland Dancers. Then see if you can match their bewildering nimble footwork!
