Cycling Safaris
Escape to the hills and enjoy mountain biking in Scotland with "Drop at the Top" Cycle Safaris, a cycling adventure which takes you up onto the hill tops without the effort of the climb up! Experience the exhilaration of cycling down the mountain tracks, country lanes and forest roads, the perfect way to explore our Highland Perthshire Estates. Adventure deep into Scotland's stunning wilderness with minimal environmental impact and the maximum fun!
Our cycle transporters and land rovers are also used to take you to other areas, tailored to suit your ability and tastes. Through our extensive local knowledge we pride ourselves in providing a Cycling Safari Hub second to none with some of the most fabulous routes Scotland has to offer.
The Routes
Glenyon Route - After being dropped off at Lochan Na Lairige on Ben Lawers it’s a 25 mile mostly down hill ride on a tarmac road in Scotland’s Longest and most beautiful glen. Optional stops at Bridge of Balgie Café and Fortingall Hotel before picking up your car at the Lodge. (Duration 5-6 hours approx )
Glassie Loch - High above Aberfeldy this easy Forest Route is through heather moor land, Tree covered hills and past mountain Loch with stunning views of the valley below.(Duration 2-3 hours approx)
Drummond Hill - With over 30 miles of road this is an amazing biking adventure with views of Loch Tay and into Glenlyon. (Duration 2-3 hours)

Timings
Glenlyon `Drop at The top` - Mondays/Saturdays leaving the lodge at 1000hrs
Drummond/Glassie `Drop at the Top` - Departing 1100hrs each day except Sundays
