The Forest Safari
This is a great opportunity to introduce your children to the wonders of the natural environment. During this Land Rover Safari experience the excitement of the 4WD in a safe environment. With your friendly ranger to get up close and discover tracks, trails, views and clues as you take a stroll into an ancient Caledonian Pine Forest set at 1600’.Search for signs of Red Squirrel, Roe Deer and other Forest Wildlife.
You need to bring
Bring suitable outdoor clothing and shoes or boots and a sense of Adventure.

Gold Panning at The Safari Lodge
The Safari Lodge is home to the only Gold and Gen Panning Centre in Scotland and panning for real Gold and Gem stones is great fun! Armed with your own bucket of dirt and pan, you can scoop and swirl in our all weather purpose built panning flume to hunt for both fools gold and real gold as well as many beautiful semi precious gem stones and you take home everything you find!
Transport is by Land Rover Defender or Discovery with a Safari Ranger who is a qualified off road driving Instructor and first aider.
