Our Mountain Bothy
We have a mountain bothy set at 2500’ which is an amazing place to have a coffee or tea with a dram of Dewars whisky and Kenmore shortbread or why not extend your Mountain Safari and go for a Mountain Safari Trek! In a fabulous Mountain Bothy enjoy a delicious picnic of homemade soup, bread rolls stuffed with delicious smoked hams and cheeses, hand fried crisps and a tray-bake, all sourced from our own Farm Shop, here at The Safari Lodge.
We often get 4 seasons in one day in Scotland. Please do not be put off by bad or stormy weather as this is often the best time to see a Red Grouse in the heather or some Deer sheltering close to our safari tracks. The light on the hills can change in seconds which is a photographers dream and will leave everlasting memories.

“We enjoyed the safari into the hills. We saw hawks, hares and Deer. The Golden Eagle came by when we were having our tea at the Bothy. The telescope was also a big help to spot Deer. We will treasure this experience Thank you for sharing it with us.”
