Mountain Safari Trek
This safari is a journey of discovery by Land Rover leaving from the valley floor and heading up to the high ridges to enjoy an easy paced trek to explore this stunning environment sculptured by the elements. Enjoy a delicious Ghillies Picnic in our Mountain Bothy freshly prepared in our own Farm Shop. Views of 50 miles to Ben Nevis in the west and the Falkland Hills in the south are possible on a clear day. This truly is an amazing experience on the roof of Scotland.
You need to bring
Bring suitable outdoor clothing and shoes or boots and a sense of Adventure.
Cameras are definitely recommended
The Weather
We often get 4 seasons in one day in Scotland. Please do not be put off by bad or stormy weather as this is often the best time to see a Red Grouse in the heather or some Deer sheltering close to our safari tracks. The light on the hills can change in seconds which is a photographers dream and will leave everlasting memories.
Transport is by Land Rover Defender or Discovery with a Safari Ranger who is a qualified off road driving Instructor and first aider.
