The Lodge

Highland Safaris is based within highland Perthshire, in the geographical heart of Scotland, near the market town of Aberfeldy, only an hour and a half from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Situated within the Appin Valley, close to Scotland’s longest river, The River Tay, the heart of Europe’s Adventure Capital and home to 250 thousand acres of our beautiful Highland Perthshire Estates. Why not follow in the foot steps of the famous admirers through the centuries from Sir Walter Scott, Rabbie Burns and Queen Victoria who have been in awe of these majestic mountains, rich woodlands, crystal clear rivers and lochs.

The Safari Lodge is set in a commanding position surrounded by a Red deer Park, Play Grounds and discovery garden and houses not only the Highland Safari main offices and reception area and Gift shop but also The Scottish Farm Shop and Café tempting you with the very best of Scottish & Perthshire produce.

Gold Panning @ Highland Safari Lodge: From the earliest times, people have searched for one of the world’s most precious metals, within the Safari Lodge grounds you can try your hand at Gold Panning in a 30 foot water flume. Gold Panning is exciting, addictive and a highly enjoyable experience with beautiful semi-precious gem stones and Gold to be discovered. Whatever you find you take home!

The lodge is a great place to spend a few hours or a full day with something for everyone.
